LIAM CASTELLAN is a director/actor/producer based in both Indiana and Philadelphia.  Recent directing includes for Cardinal Stage (Charlotte’s Web), Jewish Theatre of Bloomington (Cherry Docs and Church & State), Stages Bloomington (Just So Stories, Honk! Jr., Androcles and the Lion and Shipwrecked!) and IU Theatre (The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, The Exonerated and Rat In the Skull).  As a Company Member of Curio Theatre Company since 2006, he has been a part of more than 17 productions, including directing Joe Orton's What the Butler Saw and two productions of Anansi and His Stories.  He has also directed for Hedgerow Theatre (Communicating Doors and Corpse! , nominated for "Best Play" in the 2013 BroadwayWorld Philadelphia Awards), Plays & Players Theatre (Titus Andronicus), the Philadelphia Dramatists Center (world premiere of A Cuckold's Tale by Paul Leeper, various readings and workshops) and the Walking Fish Theatre (A Taste of Heaven).

          Acting credits include George Wilson/Mr. McKee in The Great Gatsby and Associate Pastor Joshua in The Christians with Cardinal Stage, several productions with Curio and Hedgerow, as well as Simpatico Theatre Project, Commonwealth Classic Theatre Co, Shakespeare in Clark Park, Idiopathic Ridiculopathy Consortium, and the Living Arts, Inc. world tour of Porgy and Bess.  He co-stars in the feature film Mag Mell.

          Liam is a graduate of Northwestern University's Theatre Department, and has an MFA in Directing from Indiana University.
